Lauren Yates LLB

Lauren grew up in Auckland, moving to Wellington for university in 2016.  During her uni years she worked part-time at classic Wellington tourist spots - Weta Workshop and Wellington Zoo.  She also spent a summer as an intern at Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley and has continued to volunteer there.  In 2019 she volunteered with Wellington Sexual Abuse HELP as a fundraising co-ordinator, assisting with social media and events.

In 2019 Lauren graduated from Victoria University with an LLB and joined the team at WLC Brierley, during an eventful 2020.  Initially starting as Peter's legal assistant, she is now the junior lawyer of the team, having been admitted in November 2021.

Lauren enjoys working with young people, especially those looking to buy their first home.  She can help you with property matters, relationship property and wills.  Lauren likes finding the best options for her clients and achieving the most practical way forward.

Out of the office, Lauren is a podcast aficionado, avid reader and journal-er, terrible knitter and passionate weekend brunch-er.
